This page covers peetaboo.com only: the marketing site, the waitlist, and the contact form. The PeetaBoo product itself, cameras and app, will have its own policy before it reaches anyone outside our home.
We collect what you type into our forms and nothing else about you. We use it to reply to you and, if you joined the waitlist, to tell you about the beta. We don't run advertising or analytics trackers. We don't sell or share your details. You can ask us to delete everything at any time by emailing [email protected].
Only when you submit a form:
| Data | From which form | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Email address | Waitlist and contact | To reply, and to send waitlist updates |
| First and last name | Contact | To address you properly |
| Topic and message | Contact | To understand what you're asking |
| Page the form was on | Both | To know which form you used |
| Country | Both | Derived from your connection by Cloudflare; helps us plan where to open the beta |
| Browser type | Both | To debug a form that misbehaves |
We don't record your IP address. A bot check (Cloudflare Turnstile) runs on each form to block automated spam; it may set a short-lived technical cookie for that purpose and nothing more.
We're a very small team, so a few services do the heavy lifting. Each only sees what it needs:
These providers may store data outside Canada, mainly in the United States, under their own security commitments.
The videos and photos on peetaboo.com show our own family, in our own home, published with our own consent. No customer footage appears here, and we would never publish a family's footage without their written permission.
This website is for parents. We don't knowingly collect information from children, and nothing on the site asks for a child's details.
If this policy changes, the effective date at the top changes with it. If a change affects how we use details you've already given us, we'll email you first.
Questions, requests, or complaints: [email protected]. A person replies, usually within a day. You also have the right to raise a concern with the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
